Unveiling the Layered Narratives of Women's Spirituality and Sexuality

Saturday, May 5th, 9am - 4pm

Often the spiritual and sexual stories of women are told in one-dimensional and compartmentalized ways.  Understanding these as separate and often antagonistic narratives may cause women to feel fragmented and disconnected.  What would it be like for your sexual self and your spiritual self to have a conversation, to co-exist, to recognize their kinship?

Through storytelling, creative expression, experiential learning, this workshop will open up the multidimensional facets of female sexuality and spirituality.  Exploring and weaving together these layered stories, we offer women a unique opportunity to experience integration and more fullness in their spiritual and sexual lives.  Standing in contrast to the cultural message that emphasizes a one-dimensional narrative, this workshop invites women to access and express our multi-dimensional, complex experiences.

For this workshop, I am honored to be collaborating with Cherie Katt.  Cherie is a dear friend and a talented, insightful therapist who specializes in women's issues, body matters, and sexuality.
